Mamaclothonline's growth, like the idea of the pads we sell, was all organic. Mamaclothonline is a sister site to Cottontail Baby. More and more we were discovering that while many of the customers who purchased the cloth diapers and accessories we sell at Cottontail were the same women who purchased our pads, there were also different groups who wanted these reusable menstrual products. In order to more effectively serve these women, we started Mamaclothonline.
Our goal with Mamaclothonline is to provide not only the products women want but also serve as a resource for information and education on natural menstrual products and the menstrual cycle itself. We hope to not only provide information but also learn from our customers and become a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.
We recognize that reusable menstrual products can be a big leap for many. An avid cloth diaper supporter, even I had an "Oh, yuck!" moment when thinking of reusable pads. However, the more I learned about the pads and cups and sponges and the more I learned about the environment and reducing my carbon impact, the more they made sense. The fact that they are significantly more economical is the icing on the cake. I am doing good for my body, good for my environment and good for my pocket book. Why didn't I start sooner?
